THE ADAP REPORT
Published since 1992, the ADAP Report is written and published by PAREXEL and is supported by Gilead Sciences. The ADAP Report provides comprehensive information about the administration and management of the state AIDS Drug Assistance Programs (ADAP), focusing on the complex issues affecting HIV/AIDS service delivery and access to pharmaceutical therapies. Issues addressed in the ADAP Report include public health policy, program administration, clinical trends, standards of care, and other issues affecting access to care for underserved and vulnerable populations, including those related to providing care in corrections settings and upon release from incarceration.
The ADAP Report is intended to assist ADAP administrators in keeping up-to-date on emerging topics and best practices in other states, thus promoting effective strategies to overcome barriers to accessing HIV/AIDS-related care and prescription medications. The publication benefits from ongoing input from the ADAP Report Advisory Board, composed of 10 ADAP administrators, state AIDS program directors, and other policy experts.
Most ADAP Report issues contain four to five articles. Recent editions of the ADAP Report have focused on the following topics:
